Reupholstery of Vale Furniture
When starting a new reupholstery service project, we follow some general steps:
Your Vale *furniture will be completely stripped down to the frame,
*All loose joints would be fixed all dangerous products removed (ie materials that don’t conform to fire regulations),
*New padding and foam will be applied
*Your suite will be rebuilt back to its original splendour.
We are often asked: What is the difference between reupholstery and a recover?
Some unscrupulous upholsterers might try and sell Vale Furniture recover as reupholstery. However, put simply a re-cover is exactly what it says, the furniture fabric is merely stripped off and then replaced.
Doing a recover simply requires a lot less effort. Thus, the price should be significantly less than full reupholstery.
Ask to see your Vale Furniture suite when it has been stripped down if you are having reupholstered, or ask to have a photograph sent of your suite stripped. You can then be sure you’re getting what you pay for.
We generally record photos of our work in every step of the progress. You can check some of our examples simply by viewing and following our facebook page.
